The best fleet of motorhomes and campervans for rent in Malmö
Malmö is Sweden's third-largest and fastest growing city and is nicknamed the "city of parks" due to the large park facilities in the middle of the city. However, the name is somewhat outdated, as Malmö statistically has the second least green space of all of Sweden's urban areas. The city is known for being the home of a number of famous writers, musicians, actors, artists, and other highly prominent individuals. Art and culture form a large part of Malmö's identity, and it is also what draws many to the city.
Malmö is an easily accessible city, with an international airport, direct trains to Stockholm and Gothenburg, convenient bus and train connections to the rest of Europe, and a connection to Denmark via the Öresund Bridge. Through Deutche Bahn you can find train tickets from Continental Europe, and it takes 4.5 hours to travel by train from Hamburg to central Malmö. Sturup Airport is operated by nine airlines, including SAS, BRA, and Wizz Air. From there, there are charters and scheduled flights to different destinations in Europe, as well as domestic flights to Stockholm and Gothenburg. A direct flight from Warsaw to Sturup takes under 2 hours. The E20 route runs via the Öresund Bridge, through Malmö, and on through Gothenburg and Stockholm.
Malmö's parking spaces are divided into different zones, with fees ranging from 2-33 SEK per hour depending on the location and time. The city center and particularly popular areas have higher fees, while it is cheapest to park in remote districts such as Limhamn and Kirseberg. In the center, there are several parking garages, including the parking house Baggers Plats which is close to the central station (maximum height 190 cm). If you have a RV rental in Malmö, you should park outside the center. In the Limhamn district, by the marina, there are pitches for motorhomes (200 SEK/night). If you choose to park on the outskirts of Malmö, it is easy to commute to the city center via Skånetrafiken.
