“I truly don't have words about how incredible our trip was in our Indie camper. There were hiccups to getting there and I was so incredibly impressed by the staff at Indie. When we realized we hadn't booked it the right week.– the day before the trip(!) – they found a solution. When we arrived there, and there was a disconnect at the local office the staff there was truly incredible. Danni, Reina, and the gentleman that worked there that I'm forgetting the name of got us our van quick and got us on our way. Now, the trip. We have five teenagers and two dogs. Our teenagers are 18, 17, 16, 15 and 14. We thought that it was either gonna be the best of times or the worst idea ever. It was the absolute best of times. I will never ever forget this trip. We have two that are leaving for college next year and so we went to look at four different colleges. During our week we stopped at beautiful Hot Springs, saw Saturn through a telescope in the middle of the desert, had the "best" boysenberry shake in Washington, (they weren't lying it was amazing), saw Mount Hood, had in incredible dinner in Newport Harbor, and a watched a sunset on the beach in Oregon that I will never, ever forget. The heart of it was our Indie camper. We got the family select and we were unprepared for actually how easy it was. My wife is telling me to mention that she's a baddie, and she is. She was a little nervous about driving it, but after the first hour or so it really just wasn't a big deal. It was far easier than she thought. Hook ups were easy, refilling the water was easy. Life inside of it was the gift though. Driving through the days we had kids that were sometimes laying on the bed and back others that we're eating in the kitchen and more that we're up watching a show above the drivers. It's actually pretty unbelievable how you could be that close together and not feel cramped. Not having to stop every time someone need to go to the bathroom or needed. Food was incredible because we had a fridge full of food. We really stopped for gas and at our places that we were staying for the night. We calculated every which way to do fall break with our kids the cheapest way possible and everything we came up with ended up being twice the price of our entire trip. This was more than just worth it for us. This was kind of everything. We'll never forget it and I can't encourage people enough to go do it and use Indie to do it.”
“We enjoyed the van even though it has seen some wear and tear and could use some TLC. All major systems worked well, especially the needed heat. Interior space works well. Have us some good ideas in case we purchase one. Love the pop-up space, swivel chairs and table.”
