“We picked up the camper in Edinburgh and were welcomed by Sharon, who was very helpful. We took extensive photos and videos of the camper before checking it out to clarify the exterior damage already existent. We then proceeded to Skye. The camper we used was robust, comfortable, and the perfect size to navigate the roads of Skye. The heating system worked well and kept us nice and warm. There was plenty of storage space within the camper. We never used the shower facilities as campsites offered this. I would definitely recommend indie campers to my friends. The checkout went smoothly with Vinay, who was very helpful.”
“Mostly great, the engine oil change notification popped up on the first day; they should not rent a vehicle that they know might have these types of notifications pop up. Besides that, it was a good experience.”

“We had an amazing trip and were generally very happy with our camper van. Obviously, the problems with electrics did impact us. We were unable to risk taking more than one night wild camping and on two occasions when we tried one night wild camping, we had no electrics as the leisure battery had not charged up. In addition, we had issues with charging phones/laptops etc due to the USB and socket problems. And it was a shame that we couldn’t benefit from the sat nav. The reverse camera was helpful but it would have been even more useful to have audible reversing sensors. We bought a bowl and dustpan and brush set because neither were provided; to us they seem like essentials. The essentials kit provided was not full (e.g., not two pans - only one was provided) and the cutlery and crockery was very inconsistent and didn’t match the numbers on the list (some were correct and some were missing). We’re pleased that these things didn’t impact our holiday unduly.”
