About us

Indie Campers turns road-trip planning into an easy, personalised experience thanks to our digital platform and always-on support. We operate in over 100 locations across Europe, North America and Oceania, offering modern campervans and motorhomes, one-way options and unlimited mileage on our own fleet so you can travel with confidence.

Our Story

Founded in 2013 in Lisbon by two good friends, we believe everyone deserves the thrill and independence of a road trip, and our purpose is to make travelling on the road accessible and effortless for all. Since then, we've supported 350,000+ road trips in 20+ countries, welcoming nearly 850,000 customers from 130+ nationalities.

We combine an owned fleet of 10,000+ modern vehicles with a peer-to-peer marketplace available in Europe, expanding choice and availability while keeping consistent quality across our fleet and hosts. For those ready to move from renting to owning, we also offer Campervan sales across our regions, extending the road trip experience.
