California Standard is designed around campsite facilities: nearly every campsite, aire and holiday park has toilets and showers included in the pitch fee. Many guests also add a portable toilet for night-time and remote stops. If having your own bathroom matters, choose a model from our Comfort or California Grand ranges instead.
The van drove exceptionally well, with power when I needed it, good visibility and was very economical (8L/100kms). The utilities within the van (drawers, hooks, power outlets, etc) are very well designed. The driver's seat was very comfortable for driving long distances. The back bench seat was not ideal for using as a work seat for extended periods (I was working while travelling). The low profile (2m) meant there were no issues with underground carparks or carparks with height restrictions. My only real negative was the stains on the seat upholstery (I ended up cleaning them myself). All in all, a great experience and, at least in my case, good value for money.
Even though we did have some issues with our van, I liked the online process and thought you provided lots of good information. I would rent again from Indie Campers.
The vehicle is small and handy. Perfect for 2 people.
