The gentleman who returned the car was particularly great, very nice and competent. The car had a few quirks (the fall protection on the upper bed was broken, as was the roof window), but otherwise everything was fine!
Speziell der Herr bei der Rückgabe war super, sehr nett und kompetent. Das Auto hatte einige Macken (Rausfallsicherung beim oberen Bett kaputt, das Dachfenster ebenso), aber sonst war alles gut!

Pick up and drop off was friendly and everything was done quickly without any waiting time. I would rent the same vehicle model again to suit my needs, but I was not entirely convinced by the popular model. The VW camper is very practical and some things are very well thought out, e.g. the chairs and the table in the doors. It's a shame that VW uses so much plastic, the sound when closing cupboards is terrible and the mechanics of converting the lower seat bench are not manageable without a lot of muscle power and still... closing the side door is very loud in nature...but Indie Campers was fine with the offer and the handling.
Pick up und Drop off sympathisch und ohne Wartezeit alles schnell erledigt. Das Fahrzeugmodelll würde ich für meine Bedürfnisse passend wieder mieten, jedoch war ich vom vielbeliebten Modell nicht nur überzeugt. Der VW Camper ist sehr zweckmäßig und manches sehr gut durchdacht, z.B. die Stühle und der Tisch in den Türen. Schade aber, dass VW soviel Plastik verbaut, der Sound beim Schließen von Schränken ist dadurch furchtbar und die Mechanik des Umbaus der unteren Sitzbank für ohne viel Muskelkraft nicht zu bewältigen und immer noch ... das Schließen der Seitentür in der Natur sehr laut ...jedoch war Indie Campers war bei Angebot und Abwicklung fein.

Cleaned cars at check-in, better communication on check-in/payment process before end. Perfect car for a couple travelling and sleeping on the roof. The night doesn't get wet even if it's raining heavily outside.

We missed a cleaning cloth, a tea towel and some glasses (there were only cups). But we managed fine without it. :-)

Excellent experience from booking to receiving the car in great working and clean condition. It's been quite fun! We needed an extension and the customer support team was very helpful and responsive. The check out team was very friendly! Thank you Indie Campers team!

Thank you for the hospitality. They are kind. The sink was leaking. So I had to fix it at the repair shop. The issue was simply disconnected pipe. But I wasted almost half day to visit the repair shop. The mechanic fixed it but only requested small tip. I gave 10 Euro.
Interior sun shade lost the clip to close.
Except those, other things functioned well.
My family enjoyed the trip with Indie Camper.
