Everything was fine with the vehicule, but I found out strange that there where no inverter, I thought these were standard in RV’s? I do need to use a c-pak breathing machine at night and since there where 120 plugs in the unit this would be fine, but I was informed that I needed to use the generator if I was not connected with power which was not a viable option! I did not received my final invoice as it was mention by my Indie contact after the final RV review! Thank you The vehicule was brand new and working just fine! The one I was offered was a 25’ and was handling well for the size but we had some areas on Vancouver Island Provincial Parks the parking was not accessible because of the lenght. No inverter in the unit supplied!

I loved the Jeep with rooftop box. It was a pleasure to drive and made my trip so much more enjoyable. I will be renting it again. Service at both ends was great by indie campers.

We embarked on a three-week round trip from Vancouver to Banff with Indie Campers and had an overall fantastic experience. Exploring the Rockies in the Four Winds camper was a memorable adventure. The pick up and drop off of the van was super quick and easy, all our questions were answered, we were in and out within half an hour. The comfort of having our own beds for three people was a major plus, including the fold-down bed in the kitchen, which was surprisingly comfortable. It made a significant difference in ensuring restful nights after days filled with hiking, rafting, horse riding, etc. A pleasant surprise was the free kitchen essentials kit provided upon arrival. This thoughtful addition saved us a trip to Walmart for basic items and made settling into the camper much smoother. However, there were a few areas where the camper fell short. The side mirrors were quite problematic as they constantly moved, making it difficult to have a clear view of the surroundings. We reported this issue when returning the van and suggest that RVs be inspected more closely before being hired out to avoid such inconveniences for future renters. Additionally, the sensors were not the most accurate, which occasionally led to some uncertainty around water, propane and battery levels. There were a lack of cupboards due to being broken, some of the interior were not fitted properly. The shower not being hot was another downside, although this was manageable as the campsites we stayed at had adequate facilities. Despite these minor issues, our trip was highly enjoyable and the experience of traveling through the Rockies in a comfortable camper was unforgettable. Indie Campers provided a solid vehicle for our adventure, and with a few improvements, it could be perfect. Check in was smooth and easy. A few functions could have been explained a bit clearer but otherwise great. Kyle was amazing. Super helpful and kind. He was patient with as we cleared out our stuff and did a great job thoroughly explaining the process and mileage fees. Promote the man!

The handle of our black water was missing when we picked up our van, so we had to buy a pair of pliers and tug the heck out of the lever everytime we had to empty our tank, so that was inconvenient and tough on our hands! We feel like that would have been an easy thing to fix before handing over the van to us. :) We had a great time in our camper! Just a note about the bbq hire it’s not what we would call a bbq, it’s more of a smoker. We thought it would be a gas bbq, so we didn’t use ours even though we payed to hire it for our journey! Apart from that it all went smoothly pick up and drop of were easy!

A thicker blanket and better storage options for the ladder, table and chairs would be great! Super friendly reception and service! Vehicle and roof tent top, camping equipment not so good...

The local team was timely, efficient, friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions as first-time campers. It was our first time renting, driving, or living in a van and Indie Campers made everything feel so easy and manageable. Especially the local team in Richmond. She answered all of our questions and made it so that we felt completely comfortable leaving for our trip. Can't wait to go again!

Maria from the BC branch was very helpful, we also enjoyed our camping trip with this RV quite a lot. Good times! This is our 3rd time using indie camper. Let us know about the deposit more in advance!
