I had an amazing journey in my indie camper solis around Lake Michigan. Everything worked perfectly and it was awesome to be able to pull up to a scenic view and make myself a snack and just enjoy. Great not having to use public toilets too!

Clean and easy check-in experience! The manager Sean was very helpful, flexible and professional! The van was clean, prepped and easy to drive. The team even left me pots and pans at no additional charge (: Simple and easy checkout experience! I just dropped the van off in the same condition as it was when I picked it up and I was on my way!

Pick up was delayed by 2 hours due to other customers and rv not being completely ready. Staff were very helpful and gave us extra time for drop off at other end of trip. Rv was a bit noisy while on the road, but apart from that, was very good. See above comments.

Beautiful experience, without any kind of problem. Great availability of the INDIE staff (especially ALEX whom I thank warmly) to solve unexpected events. I definitely recommend INDIE

It was a brand new rv. They did have a shortage of kitchen supplies. Great team, very straightforward, very professional. The rv came without the detachable screen to obscure front of cabin. Also the window screen of the kitchen windows rattles constantly, that should be redesigned. Overall excellent though.

I had some issues with the first camper Ford Winds, flat tire, looseness in steering wheel, and smoke coming out when turn on the heater, however once I changed to Winnebago Solis it all went smooth from here! Sean West was amazing and he really made me feel more calm despite everything that happened, also massive thanks to Mon for being so helpful! I did have assistance with Ford Winds, I found customer service lacked of debrief between teams so I had to explain myself over and over about same thing, and made the whole situation worse than should have been, also I was overpromised things that weren't possible. I wasn't all too happy with the checkout, I was first greeted by Alex, but then I guess he started doing something else and Luis seem to be the person dealing with checking the camper I dropped off, I just didn't know what was happening, and then even though I checked everything before I dropped the van and even though LPG was full before I dropped it it was empty when they checked it, and in all honesty, this did upset me very much, because I have no problem taking responsibility of a mistake, but I knew it was full. Then they told me they won't charge me and to speak with the customer team yet they still charged me. Thanks to Marisa for being so understanding and helping me sort out this issue.

Drop off team was excellent, 5/5! The pickup location we were essentially given the keys and had to ask for vehicle specs (I.e. grey/black water locations, gas, propane, etc). A routine general rundown of all the vehicle specs on pickup would be great 👍🏼

Sean in Chicago was awesome. The only thing during the whole experience was that the customer service line was only through What’s App chat which was a little weird to try and deal with. The what’s app chat for customer service was difficult to deal with it would be nice to also have more local customer service too.

Everything was pretty good. Every worker you have is amazing and so kind that helped my overall experience. So be thankful for them. The only problem is that when someone needs to contact the service team, has to do it through WhatsApp. I tried so many times but I couldn’t find them. Just find 1-2 more ways of contacting them Viber or something else. So if one way doesn’t work for any reason there are some other options. So the 24/7 service u said you provide, obviously doesn’t exist but everything else was perfect.

Richard has been great in communicating in the morning that the vehicle, due to late return, will not be ready at the scheduled time. As we communicated I actually found out that the location is at a different place than what my final reservation document provided. There must be a technical glitch not corrected yet, since you switched locations in Chicago. Please look into this before you possibly have an angry customer standing in Schaumburg. One warning light came up about the License Plate light, but somehow this fixed itself during the trip and disappeared. Wesley has been exceptional in communicating and accommodating me and the return of the vehicle was simple and smooth. The orange engine light appeared on the dashboard on my second to last day but also disappeared on the last day again. Informed Wesley about it! General comment about the different mileage and reimbursement procedures in regard to what Transfer Car provided and what the Indie Camper provided. I was ensured that the mileage is what Transfer Car information provided and we have to wait until the final bill, reimbursement, and security deposit have been settled, but it is kind of confusing and creates doubt as a first-time customer. The reservation staff I chatted with, also have not always been well aware of the Transfer Car agreement or procedures, but the staff at the locations know more about it.

The checkout was pleasant and the vehicle was (mostly) ready to go. There were three issues: 1) We needed bedding and paid for a fairly expensive "essentials" package. But we only got two pillows, a folding table and two chairs, not the bedding we needed. 2) The tires needed air. 3) There was no windshield washing fluid. Customer service while on the road was a challenge. But once we got the WhatsApp chat going it was ok. Checkout was good. Nic and her team in Redwood City helped us with a few things that we needed and that was great. Thank you, Nic!

Honestly, there is no room for improvement. I had the best experience at the Chicago (Schaumburg), IL facility. I highly recommend this location, I even had friends put the phone number in their phone so they could use them next time they want to get away with the family. Again, no improvement needed at this facility. I have read very bad reviews on the CA and FL facilities but decided to give Chicago a chance since they were new. I will definitely be a return customer. I absolutely love the team that runs that facility. Very friendly, helpful, informative, courteous, and always answered the phone when I called!
