The water pump failed us and they gave us another replacement vehicle. They offered to pay for a hotel for the night, but since it wasn't necessary, they gave us a late checkout as a gift. We thought it was a good solution. The guys from the local team were great. Thank you very much to everyone.

Overall a good experience. Our gas bottle leaked at the start (strange smell) which forced us to return, but they helped us well by providing an extra gas bottle. The information session could have been a bit more extensive because we had to ask other people a few times during our trip how things worked in the Volkswagen California.

Went for pop-top this time. Was unsure if it was worth the extra money. Definitely was! Both in terms of sleeping space, but also because of the awning. Bear in mind it's a lot cooler sleeping in the pop-top. It was a wonderful newer vehicle. A significant improvement on the older (and non-pop-top) vehicle we rented last time. Fantastic service by all the staff at the local (Bilbao) team. Thank you.

Good car and nice to sleep in. The only thing we were shocked about was that they charged over 100 euros to return the car earlier, even though no one met us. The essential travel kit was not worth it as we only got a double duvet and one of the chairs was not intact.
