About Geneva

Surrounded by sensational Alpine backdrops that make the most au fait hikers tremble with excitement, Geneva extends a travelling experience as sweet as chocolate, merging culture, adventure, science and activism.

Postcard-perfect Geneva is a haven for travel devotees in search of the finest and most fun adventures in life. From elect pastime activities such as sailing, wine tasting, and museum hopping to extreme sports, the second-largest city in Switzerland seems to have been created to reconnect your mannerly side with your mischievous one. Geneva is slick and cosmopolitan. Strolling along its sophisticated cobblestone streets –– yes, Geneva can make cobblestones sophisticated –– you’ll inadvertently stumble upon luxury boutiques, chic cafés, glorious monuments, and equally lofty museums. Venturing a bit further will get you to the lush side of Geneva. Here, the Alps call on newbies, veteran adventurists, and day-trippers alike to climb higher, snowboard better, and ski faster — or just have the time of their lives trying. You’ll also be thrilled to know that Geneva gathers an impressive number of global eateries. Try the tapas, enjoy the spaghetti, and finger-lick the hummus, but don’t forget to first dig into the local specialities: fondue, raclette, and absolutely smashing chocolate. Now that you’re good to go, hire a campervan in Geneva and explore its gilt-edged surroundings in search of the ideal playground for all your passions. And then some.
