Here’s some essential information for campervan travellers in Valencia
Starting your road trip in Valencia? If you’re arriving by aeroplane at Manises Airport, you can either come directly to our depot or book our shuttle service and we pick you up at Manises Airport and take you to our depot, where we’ll get you familiar with your motorhome. Like in most cities, parking your campervan or motorhome in the city centre will prove hard, as there are limited street-parking spots available and multi-storey and underground parking lots have limited-height access. Outside of the city centre, and especially in the south and east of the city, you’ll find street-parking spots that fit campervans. Alternatively, on the outskirts of Valencia (Lliria, La Pobla de Vallbona, l’Eliana, to name a few) there are free P+R parking lots with a metro taking you right to the city centre.
You have plenty of options for staying with a campervan or a motorhome on a camping ground near Valencia. We can recommend the camping sites of Coll Vert Camping, Devesa Gardens Camping & Resort and Camping Valencia. Your best option for both staying the night and visiting Valencia is, however, Valencia Camper Park, with a metro running to the city centre. The Camper Park has all the facilities you need, from baths and a pool, to WiFi and electricity.
This timeless town of sandy beaches, jaw-dropping markets, and mouth-watering dishes paired with cold a Tinto de Verano puts Valencia right up there with the best Spain has to offer.
Spain’s third-biggest city is the greatest in combining the old and new, with remnants from 138 BC mingling with contemporary (and, let’s say, avant-garde) buildings capable of mesmerising much more than just architecture students. Valencia is a city of dreams: whether you’re taking a siesta in the middle of a park, the wind and sun softly caressing your skin, or if you’re having a bite of a paella which deep flavours will stay with you long after your visit. Or if you’re on a road trip, for that matter – because hiring a campervan in Valencia not only gives you access to this city of saffron and siestas, but it also opens up your travels to a region of green mountains, gushing rivers, and coasts lined with palm trees.
